Defaqto Limited is the foremost supplier of product information and analysis in the UK financial service market, with over 4,000 business customers using its Aequos database and related services. Defaqto chose MDB to redevelop their product research system, on which their main business activity is built.

Defaqto's products and services are used by the Government and Regulatory Bodies, including the FSA, GISC and IIB and its data appears widely in the press. Up to date and accurate collation and presenting of data was of the utmost importance for this project.
MDB undertook the huge task of redeveloping Defaqto's internal product research system; a 100-user distributed application.
MDB provided the technical architecture skills to migrate the companies existing systems and databases into a single coherent and scalable solution. MDB is also providing skills to enhance the company's Aequos Online product with numerous performance, functionality and productivity improvements.
