Defaqto Limited is the foremost supplier of product information and analysis in the UK financial service market with over 4,000 business customers using its Aequos database and related services. Defaqto's products and services are also used by the Government and Regulatory Bodies, including the FSA, GISC and IIB and its data appears widely in the press.
MDB Consulting is currently undertaking the huge task of redeveloping Defaqto's internal product research system, a 100 user distributed application utilising the latest Microsoft SQL Server and .NET technologies. MDB Consulting has provided the technical architecture skills to migrate the companies existing systems and databases into a single coherent and scalable solution. MDB Consulting is also providing skills to enhance the company's Aequos Online product with numerous performance, functionality and productivity improvements.
Knowledge Online
Knowledge Online uses a mixture of the latest web and mobile technologies to provide solutions for health and safety, snagging, environmental audits, facilities management audits and food safety.
MDB Consulting is currently redeveloping their health and safety system, ESAFE 100, to improve performance and availability, in addition to updating the software using the latest Microsoft .NET platform.
Gator-Data Limited
Gator-Data Limited is an independent company providing a unique service to insurance and investment companies and end users of financial data, such as research houses, IFAs and financial services publications, to solve the time-consuming and costly problems of product data collection and transfer.
MDB designed and developed the web application to allow users to access their financial database. In addition they have worked with Gator-Data to extend the functionality of their system to make it more attractive, faster and easier to use for its customers. MDB continues to provide support and consultancy services to Gator-Data.
Tritech Rail Limited
Tritech Rail is a market leader providing a comprehensive range of services to the rail sector. Operating throughout the UK and more recently Europe, they employ in excess of 100 highly trained and highly motivated personnel, who are supported by the most advanced equipment and software available.
MDB is currently developing a series of mobile applications for use in the surveying of rail tracks and lines. MDB is also developing back office applications for the company to improve the availability of analysis data within the company.
Apple Transcription
Apple Transcription is a new company specialising in online transcription services to legal, medical and business professionals. Using digital technology and a network of experienced transcribers, they provide a remote audio typing service which is client-focused, reliable and cost-effective.
MDB is currently developing their corporate web presence and online transcription system, called AppleLiveWire.
Interactive Dimension
Interactive Dimension are a leading creative communications agency, delivering innovative website, intranet, e-business, print, design and exhibition solutions. Using their innovative content management system, they manage and design website content for companies including United Utilities, Yorkshire Water, Bodycote and Blackpool Tourism.
MDB is currently working with Interactive Dimension to provide technical expertise on back office systems and to develop a new site statistics data warehouse.
